The SC Codeworks Evolution 

In the early 1990's, a group of Third Party Logistics industry leaders met and discussed their need for a warehouse management system (WMS) that was capable of supporting multi-million square foot operations. This group selected a senior-level application developer to lead the efforts and from this CT Codeworks was created. In 1995, CT Codeworks was created to use their successful WMS software to aid the 3PL operations. Over the years, CT Codeworks dedicated themselves to exceed their diverse customer base expectations and grow their business with a complimentary palette of logistic focused products and services.

 

Over the past 25 years, CT Codeworks, expanded the scope of their WDLS WMS software. WDLS transformed from being a strict WMS that managed orders and invoicing, into a fully robust WMS that encompassed warehouse operations with YMS, Yard Management System, and TMS, Traffic Management System (TBMS) applications. Today, warehouse operations cover more than just RF and Licenses Plates, but also has the option to auto-assign labor to various warehouse tasks. Adding this module to their repertoire only proved how encompassing their software was compared to other competitors. As the 3PL operations changed, CT Codeworks continued to adapt with them. Today, the Labor Module can be paired with the Dock Scheduler Module, giving the power to have labor assigned by WDLS based upon when the trucks are scheduled to arrive and depart. This and many other features have been added proving that WDLS is always improving right along with the technology and needs of its customers.

 

Since CT Codeworks's inception, the company has continued to grow and expand to meet the continously changing industry's needs.

 

In 2020, Suresh Chappidi purchased the company and SC Codeworks was born. Suresh brings business intelligence technology and data warehouse experience to help influence the furture of SC Codeworks growth.
